Spring Equinox Workshops

Celebrate a new season with new skills

Wed 19th - Sun 23rd March 2025

We invite you to join some of Belfast’s finest practitioners of skills across themes of how We Eat, Wear and Waste. As a celebration of the Spring Equinox, Brink! are hosting six free workshops with friends & partners who excel at demonstrating how we can think differently about our food, our textiles and our waste.

The climate crisis, inequality, division and widespread discrimination show our political and economic systems are not serving the wellbeing of people or the planet. But people from all walks of life are coming together to turn this around and build a better future. Communities are stepping up to address the big challenges they face by starting local.

Learning through heritage, lived and practiced, is how our communities have always thrived together. By spending time together and learning together, skills, crafts, arts and knowledge are passed amongst a community, and we live in a time when these opportunities are hard to find.

We will host the workshops on the Brink! Belfast Stories site and 2RA, on Royal Avenue, in Belfast city centre. These will be free events, but will require registration to book a place. The tickets will go live on Monday 3rd March, and we shall post the info across our social networks (links to these can be found at the bottom of this page).
